KIDS OF CANADA REGISTRATION FAQs
Over the years, there have been many frequently asked questions about registration and pricing. To make things easier for you, we have taken the liberty of jotting down the answers to some of the questions that we get asked most often. Hopefully, this will help you gather information easier and to make the most informed decisions regarding camp registration.
Question #1
I want to get the best deal and take advantage of the early registration pricing specials, but I do not know exactly which weeks I want to register for at this time, what should I do?
Answer #1
IT’S SIMPLE! Complete the registration form in full. Then choose your weekly camp sessions based on what you think that they are going to be. If you need to make some changes in the spring, just call CORY at the camp office. The earlier you call (March or April), the more likely there will be room available in order to accommodate your change(s).
Question #2
How does pricing work at Kids Of Canada?
Answer #2
Each of our summer camps has their own pricing structure. Our pricing is per camper, per week, and already factors in number of kids per family and/or number of weekly sessions being registered for.
Question #3
Can I take advantage of 2 early registration pricing specials? (Registering on or before November 25, 2011)
Answer #3
YES! The early registration pricing special for Sports Camp is 4 weeks; the early registration pricing special for Dance Camp is 3 weeks, and the early registration pricing special for Hockey Camp is 2 weeks. In order to take advantage of 2 early registration pricing specials, campers must be registered for the minimum number of weeks required for both camp programs. See examples below…
Dance Camp & Hockey Camp – 3 weeks + 2 weeks = 5 weeks
Sports Camp & Hockey Camp – 4 weeks + 2 weeks = 6 weeks
Sports Camp & Dance Camp – 4 weeks + 3 weeks = 7 weeks
You can always register for more weeks at the same discounted price, but in order to be able to take advantage of the early registration pricing specials, campers must be registered for the minimum number of weeks on or before November 25, 2011.
Question #4
If I have received the early registration pricing special and I want to add more weeks at a later date, will I still get the early registration rates?
Answer #4
YES!
Question #5
Can I keep my early registration pricing special if I move my child from one camp program to another at some point?
Answer #5
YES! Once you have received the early registration rate, it is yours. You may, however, be charged the higher weekly rate for the camp you are moving into.
Question #6
Will I lose my early registration pricing special if I de-register my child for a week or two.
Answer #6
NO & YES! No if they are registered for more weeks than the early registration minimum, but Yes, if they are only registered for the early registration minimum, and now they will be below the minimum.
Question #7a
What happens if I have registered my child at Kids Of Canada and they decide to stay at over-night camp for a longer period of time?
OR
Question #7b
What happens if I have registered my child at Kids Of Canada and we decide to go on a family vacation during the weeks registered at Kids Of Canada?
Answer #7
The best option is to see if there are any other weeks that the camper can switch into. The next options are found in our Refund Policy where there are two options. Option 1, a full-credit on account with us for the next camp season. Option 2, a refund with a cancellation charge of $100.00 per child per one-week session registered.
The summer of 2012 is going to be awesome! Don’t miss out! Have your children and their friends experience our world of CAMPER APPROVED FUN!
For the upcoming season, we have been hit with some pretty heavy increases with our Door-to-Door Bussing Program, Facility Permits, Private Pool Rental, Field Permits, Ice Rental, and Camp Staff Wage Increases. In trying to maintain our reputation of being the “Best Private Day Camps for Your Buck,” we have done everything possible to continue to keep camp pricing reasonable, and most important, affordable for everyone. This year, we are required to increase our pricing in order to maintain our great camp programs, retain our high quality staff, operate out of excellent facilities, and to continue to have an excellent door-to-door bussing program. If you have any further questions please contact Cory at the camp office.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued patronage and trust. We are enthusiastically looking forward to `KEEPING your KIDS SMILING’ once again in 2012.
Yours in camping,

Cory Shiner
