Our Facility

Kids of Canada North is located in Highland Grove, Ontario between Haliburton and Bancroft just off of Highway 118. Our 35 acre property resides on the beautiful and private, Big Hardings Lake. Pure and spring fed, Big Hardings is a non-gasoline lake which means you can be sure your children are cooling off in natural, fresh water with no man-made pollutants. With very few cottages surrounding us, the amazing views and wooded hills are far away from the pressures of city life. Originally built in the 1950’s by the Ministry of Natural Resources, our property used to be home to a Junior Forest Ranger camp program. In fact, 25 acres of our property is dedicated to a MNR Managed Forest Program. From our unique “cabin circle” setup to the wonderful hiking trail system and flowing creek running straight through camp, Kids of Canada North is a versatile property with something for everyone! We are so very lucky to be immersed in all of this undisturbed nature at its finest.
